On Wednesday evening, the Colonels were defeated by the Generals of William Campbell.  It turned out to be a pitcher's duel.  Brooke Short pitched a great game; however, we made a couple of errors that WC were able to capitalize on.  We hit the ball well; yet, we weren't able to deliver that hit when we had runners in scoring position.  Click here to view the game stats.

Altavista hosted the Brookville Bees on Monday night and ended up allowing too many unearned runs.  The Bees scored 7 runs (only 2 earned) while we were only able to manage 3 runs.  This was our most intense game of this early season.  The game came down to the final out and even though it was an non-district foe, the girls we battling to the very end.  The way our girls compete last night will pay dividends through out this season.  Brooke pitched 5 innings and Hannah Lukin pitched the remaining two.  Click here to view game stats.
